But be quick - it's online for two weeks only in anticipation of the 'Bibliothèque' rarities compilation which is out on Monday 25th August. The self-titled EP from People Of Water is
now available digitally worldwide via iTunes, eMusic, 7Digital, Amazon, Napster,
Rhapsody, HMVdigital, MTV Urge, Yahoo Music Unlimited and more. It will
be added to the Sink & Stove Online Store very soon. Tracks from the EP
have been picked up by tastemakers such as
Nothing But Green Lights and Music For Robots, and
have received airplay from the likes of KEXP Seattle. You can grab the
first single ‘Constant Spring’ as a high-quality Mp3 from our downloads
page. As for those limited edition CDs they are fast selling out. Get to
the People Of Water website to secure a copy.
Other news includes the reformatting of our website - we hope you like
it. To coincide with all this activity we are discounting all
of our physical back catalogue. Be quick and snap up some CD and vinyl bargains
in our
Online Store. We've uncovered some stock
previously considered sold out, including rare 7"s from You & The Atom Bomb and You
Say Party! We Say Die! Our digital catalogue has expanded also, to
include both newer releases and records from the label's early days.
The Playwrights rarities compilation 'Bibliothèque' is still in production what
with the amount of recordings that have been unearthed. Fingers crossed
for a release date and tracklist soon. We can announce the album will
include 2 songs remixed and reimagined by producer and musician John
Parish! Finally we hope to announce further new
signings and the full-length record from People Of Water very soon.

As announced back in February the self-titled EP from People Of Water is
released digitally on Monday 12th May 2008. Containing 6 tracks of experimental,
atmospheric but playful indie-rock with electronic, lo-fi and world music
influences, it gives a taste of the forthcoming full-length album ‘Recent
Scenery’.
Recommended if you like Grizzly Bear, The Sea & Cake, Deerhunter, Jim O’Rouke,
Yeasayer and Field Music. What's more there is a free download of the first

Spring is almost here and with it new Sink & Stove activity. The self-titled EP
from People Of Water will be released worldwide digitally on Monday 12th May
2008. The Playwrights rarities collection is also gathering steam and the boys
have amassed quite a bundle of unreleased songs to whittle down into a single
album. Again this collection of songs will be released worldwide digitally.
Finally Ben Sink & Stove is DJ-ing at
Start the Bus - Bristol's new indie-orientated
bar/club/venue/grub locale. Head down there on Sunday 2nd March for an afternoon
of roast n' records.

Happy new year! 2008 is shaping up already to be an exciting year for Sink &
Stove with a number of new releases in the pipeline including a rarities
compilation from The Playwrights featuring some previously unreleased gems and
alternate versions of classic tracks, and secondly from the bedroom of a fellow
Bristolian, but in this case a one-man band, comes the self-titled EP ‘People Of
Water’. Imagine 6 tracks of experimental, atmospheric but playful indie-rock,
